Ferrari Finds Success at the Brazilian Grand Prix
Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix Ferrari Results 2018
Adding to the Ferrari racing team’s growing list of wins, Ferrari found great success at the Brazilian Grand Prix in November. Ferrari drivers were able to perfectly manage their way through the tough driving conditions due to the race day’s hot air and road temperatures. At the Brazilian Grand Prix, which took place on November 12, 2018, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, both Ferrari drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen made it to the podium, showing that the hot weather was no match for the Ferrari brand’s perseverance.
The team’s leading driver, Vettel came off with a quick start at the beginning of the race and maintained his hold on the lead, despite many other fallbacks faced by other drivers. The hot weather led the track to absorb high temperatures of heat, which caused quicker wear on the cars’ tires, making well-timed pit stops more important than ever.
Both Ferrari drivers were able to hold of their biggest competitor, Mercedes-Benz driver Lewis Hamilton, keeping him off the podium in this race. By the end of the race, Vettel maintained his first-place finish with a time of 1:31:26.262 seconds. Mercedes-Benz driver Valtteri Bottas took second place, just 2.762 seconds behind Vettel. Kimi Raikkonen finished in third, less than two seconds behind Bottas.
