Ferrari to take part in Circuit-Gilles-Villeneuve F1 Race

For most drivers, Formula 1 racing is seen as the ultimate test of man and machine. It pits the fastest, most powerful vehicles and the most skilled drivers from around the world in a series of thrilling races. A frequent participant in the Formula One circuit, Ferrari’s next appearance will be made later this month at the 2017 Circuit-Gilles-Villeneuve, located in Montreal, Quebec.
Taking place every year in June, the 2017 Circuit-Gilles-Villeneuve will be hosted beginning on the 9th and end on the 11th. It’s the seventh race for the 2017 Formula One Championship, and follows an exciting first-place finish in Monaco. Fans flock to the Circuit-Gilles-Villeneuve, which is known for its large and enthusiastic crowds, to witness the race on its amazing 4.36-kilometer track on the Île Notre-Dame, which puts car and driver to the ultimate test.
2017 Ferrari Challenge Race
In addition to the main Formula One event, Ferrari will be hosting its own support race, the highly-anticipated Ferrari Challenge for an added thrill for drivers and attendees. The Ferrari Challenge is a one-make racing event in which all participants race the exact same model. Previously, racers were behind the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Challenge, however this year, the racing model is the Ferrari 488 Challenge The purpose of this race is to show off the incredible abilities of not just the 488 Challenge and its engine and specs, but the skills of its drivers as well.
Owners of a Ferrari 488 Challenge are able to participate in the Ferrari Challenge at the 2017 Circuit-Gilles-Villeneuve F1 championship race. The event will host multiple practices sessions on the 9th, with the qualifying round and the final race taking place the next day. Finally, the podium presentation for first, second and third place winners will take place on Sunday, June 11th.
