Ferrari GTC4Lusso T Engine Details

This Ferrari GTC4Lusso T’s 3.9L V8 turbocharged engine was awarded International Engine of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The engine produces 602 horsepower @ 7,500 rpm and 560 lb-ft of torque @ 3,000 rpm for incredible speeds and acceleration, reaching a top speed of 199 mph. The model’s performance also benefits from Variable Boost Management technology, which is a control software system that adjusts the vehicle’s torque delivery in order to suit the gear selected, so you receive the perfect amount of power at all times while optimizing fuel consumption.The sleek lines of the GTC4Lusso T blend with a tapered silhouette, while maintaining the same innovative take on the shooting brake coupe as the V12 version. The GTC4Lusso T weight distribution is 46% front, 54% rear. The increased weight towards the rear allowed the adoption of a specific set-up for the 4WS (four wheel steering) and SCM – E damper control systems.

The GTC4Lusso T combines sporty handling with rear-wheel drive and the lastest evolution of electronic controls. The flat-plane crankshaft features twin-scroll technology and a three-piece cast manifold. The excellent performance across the entire rev range is a result of the intensive research into maximizing combustion efficiency. The razor-sharp throttle response, blistering performance, and powerful acceleration at all speeds provide an exhilarating soundtrack.
