2017 Canadian Grand Prix F1 Results Ferrari
In the toughest Grand Prix race of the year so far, Ferrari finished strong at the Canadian Grand Prix on June 11, with racer Sebastian Vettel in fourth place and Kimi Raikkonen in seventh place. Both vehicles recovered well after the two vehicles were damaged in the opening lap, showing the determination of both drivers and their Ferrari models.
Even with his fourth-place finish this race, Vettel remains in first in the Drivers’ Championship with 141 points, leading second-place Mercedes-Benz driver Lewis Hamilton by 13 points. To add to the difficulty of the race, gusty conditions sent dust flying around the track for an added element of excitement.
After a run-in with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, Vettel was forced to pit for a new nose and a wheel change to Supersoft tires. After his pitting, Vettel found himself on lap 14 and in 18th place. With an impressive use of strategy and overtaking moves, Vettel was able to make an outstanding recovery and reach 4th place by the end of the race.
Vettel finished with a time of 1:33:41.061, just 35.907 seconds after first-place finisher Lewis Hamilton. Raikkonen also finished all 70 laps with a time of 1:34:03.786.
