The Ferrari 365 is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive 2+2 grand tourer that made its debut at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show. Having replaced the 300 and 500 Superfast, it’s a classic Ferrari supercar that’s big on style and performance. Given its classic status, finding any Ferrari 365 2+2 for sale is a special occasion.
Ferrari 365 Models
You’ll find a few different varieties of Ferrari 365 for sale if you go shopping for one:
Ferrari 365 California: The first 365 model, it came equipped with a 4.4L V12 engine that produced 320 hp. This is the model that was shown at the Geneva Motor Show, and it’s a true collector’s item: only 14 were produced, two of which were right-hand-drive models.
Ferrari 365 GT 2+2: Finding a Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 for sale is more likely than the other models, as it’s the most common, with 800 models produced (52 of which were right-hand-drive models). Unlike the 365 California, the 365 GT 2+2 featured an independent rear suspension, as well as luxury features like power steering, electric windows, and leather seats. For a time, this was Ferrari’s best-selling model.
Ferrari 365 GTC and GTS: Formally replacing the 330 GTC and GTS in Ferrari’s lineup, the 365 GTC and GTS, it featured the same 4.4L V12 of the other 365 models, but was rated at 316 hp. Notable changes from the 365 GT 2+2 include a true 50:50 weight distribution and servo-assisted brake discs. 168 365 GTC models were produced (with 22 right-hand-drive models), while only 20 GTS models were made.
