The FF sets all-new benchmarks for innovation. It is the first Ferrari-patented four-wheel drive V12 with a rear-mounted electronic differential (E-Diff). The rear wheels provide the power, with torque being transferred to the front axle when required through intelligent and predicative technology that is distributed to all four wheels. This integrated new-generation F1-Trac traction control was developed specifically for the track. Sporting a seven-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox, the FF outputs increased power while reducing fuel consumption. Split Injection Control helps the engine’s components reduce friction and produce the optimal air and fuel mixtures. The carbon-ceramic brakes have been implemented to increase the fade-resistance and stopping power for a safer more controlled driving experience.

Ferrari FF Exterior Design

Penned by the Ferrari Style Center in collaboration with Pininfarina, the FF is a modern, unique, luxurious and futuristic vehicle. Using a shooting-brake body design, the rear of the vehicle is extended to provide more passenger space for four occupants. A long, low sweeping hood uses strategically placed air ducts to breathe cool air into the engine while the air flows out the aggressive side vents. The external architecture is exceptionally streamlined to reduce downforce. The rear diffuser optimizes air extraction from the underbody. All materials used to build the Ferrari FF consist of lightweight and high-strength alloys that help produce perfect body rigidness, balance and weight ratios.

Ferrari FF Interior Details

The interior cockpit is crafted for a pure driving experience: four high-back, leather seats provide comfort and support for trips around town, across the country, and on the track. Ferrari arranges every knob, dial, and button all within reach, achieving the ideal man-to-machine interface. Generous amounts of premium technology can also be found throughout the Ferrari FF’s cockpit. The FF’s new infotainment system features: a 6.5”, high-contrast display with touch screen control, Bluetooth with Audio Streaming, voice command function, two USB connections, and is fully compatible with iPods and iPhones.
